Daddy's 30th Birthday
On Saturday, we had a barbeque for Chris' 30th birthday (I know, I'm a cradle robber!) We had a great time. The weather was nice, but hot, and Kyler got to visit with a lot of friends and family.
Our family (minus the animals)
Grandpop is thrilled to see him with a baseball bat, but Daddy is still pulling for football!

Back on the job...sort of.
Well I guess vacation time is here and my work was in desperate need of some help with 3 physical therapists on vacation. So I decided to help out and also get back into the swing of things to get ready for the big return next month. Since Kyler has no day care yet, Gramma Rose helped out while I saw a few patients. Thanks Mom.

Kyler is 3 months old!
Kyler is 3 months old today, but fortunately no doctor appointment this month. (Yeah, no shots!) But because I bought a baby scale and I have a tape measure, I got his numbers. He is 13 lbs, 12 oz and 26 inches long. That puts him at his exact percentiles from when he was born: 62 and 95. (There is a website that will track your baby's percentiles. You just put in the numbers every month and it will keep a graph going for you. It is www.mybirthcare.com/favorites/babygrowth.asp).
Here is a progression of his first 3 months:
Day 1. This picture was actually taken 5/9. Because Kyler was born at 11:56pm, we only have one photo from his actual birthday (5/8). And although I may love that photo, many of you would not want to see it!

Kyler, International traveler
We just returned home from 6 days in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, staying with Chris' parents, where Kyler got to meet some of his Canadian relatives.
No trouble at the border even though Kyler doesn't have a passport yet. I guess he has a trusting face. It doesn't make sense for him to get a passport. His picture would be outdated every week!
And, I still don't "get it" when it comes to Canada and insisted on packing some long pants and sweatshirts for Kyler. Of course, it was 100 degrees there the whole time just like it was here!
Kyler was very good in the car ( for 8 hours) and sleeping in a different house. I know his Granny and Poppy were very happy to get some baby time.
Here are some pics.

A canal runs through the entire city and here is one of the many sets of locks, that are manually controlled. Ottawa river is what the canal is going into in the backround.
