Party time! Excellent!

Kyler had an awesome time at his party on Saturday. He keeps saying he wants his friends to come over again for cake and moon bounce. The weather cooperated and having 15 kids, ages 2-4, and their families actually ended up very stress-free and fun for me too.






Ahhh...boys. You gotta love 'em. Now I know they have been told that it is 1 at a time on the slide...and who is taking these pictures instead of reminding them????

Mia is 7 months old!

With all the excitement about Kyler's party on Saturday, we almost forgot that Mia was 7 months old. As Kyler says all the time, "Poor Mia!"

Kyler is 3 years old!

In just 3 years...


It doesn't seem possible...


...that my little baby boy is such a big guy now. How does it happen? Where does the time go? Its only when I look back at pictures, that I realize how much he has grown and changed, because to me, he is still that little baby I brought home 3 years ago. Only now, he walks, talks, sleeps in a big boy bed, uses the potty, rides a bike, goes to school, has likes, dislikes, and opinions of his own.

As excited as Kyler is for all the birthday festivities, it is really a celebration for me too: celebrating the day he came into my life. I am so happy and thankful to have been given the amazing job of raising and caring for this little guy. So Happy Birthday Kyler- Mommy loves you!

Hide and Seek

Kyler loves to play hide and seek. At first, he would just run into the other room and jump on the couch. He is getting a little better with his hiding spots, but still needs some work. But you gotta give the kid some points for creativity!

And so it begins already: Mia is only 6 months old and Kyler doesn't like to share toys with her. No matter what she has, he wants it. Fortunately, Mia doesn't seem to mind at this point. She is just happy to be playing with her big brother.

I got to see my little niece, Kelsey yesterday and she is a beauty for sure! Kyler is so excited to meet her. I told him he could go see her when they get home and he said, "NOOOO, I want to see baby Kelsey RIGHT NOW, RIGHT NOW!!" He's an old pro when it comes to baby girls.
