Coming home

Thank you to everyone for all their well wishes, emails, calls, and cards.
We came home on Sunday, and are all doing well. I am just now getting on the computer and getting some things organized. Chris has been in charge of emails and the blog to this point, (as evidenced by the fact that I wasn't edited out of that first picture.)
Kyler is having some adjustment to big changes in routine and with Daddy being home all week, but seems to love his little sister and wants to be around her all the time. He loves to hold her and give her huggies and smoochies, sometimes a little too much be we are working on that.

Kyler had a good time with Aunt Michelle, Uncle Dave, and Grandmom and Pop pop while Mommy was in the hospital and even enjoyed getting put to work.

Great News....

...no baby yet, however, we have just learned that in addition to becoming a big brother in a few days, Kyler will have a cousin in April! Yes, Renee and Erik are having a baby this spring. Yeah and congratulations to them both. We are all very excited!

Backpacks, bars, and block parties!

Kyler had his first day of preschool last week, and although he had been going to daycare it was still a big deal for him:new school, teachers, kids. He did very well, though and loves his new Spiderman backpack. In fact, he rarely takes it off.

On Friday night, the usual suspects all went to see Uncle Icky's band play. Kyler had a blast listening to the music and dancing.

Saturday was our neighborhood block party, so Kyler got to hang with some kids from the neighborhood.

Here, him and his buddies decided to get into the face paint and have a great old time- my tub is still red!

Ocean City, MD 2008

We had our week at the beach last week. Mom and Dad weren't able to make it this year, but Aunt Michelle, Uncle Dave, Aunt Renee, and Uncle "Icky" were all there. The weather was great and we had a lot of fun.

Daddies, Shane and Shawn are identical twins and their babies were born on the same day, same hospital, 2 hours apart! How cute are they?!?!

Dutch Wonderland and Daddy's Birthday

Chris had off Friday for his birthday so we celebrated by taking Kyler to Dutch Wonderland. We all had a really fun time! I did a few things but mostly played photographer.

Happy Anniversary

Our 4 year anniversary was on Thursday. Yeah us!
We celebrated on Tuesday night by going out to dinner in the city and going to the Police concert. We had a great time, although we were exhausted on Wednesday. On Thursday, we drove up to Canada for Chris' friend Sean's wedding. Congratulations Sean and Amanda. It was great seeing all Chris' old friends and it was nice because there was a couple other pregos for me to hang with.

Oh, the toll 4 years has taken on me. Daddy looks good, but it looks like this lady ate Mommy!

So the gift for 4th anniversary is flowers or fruit, neither of which I thought Chris would be thrilled about. So he got a "bouquet" of his favorite candy: fruit slices. I got a giant flowering plant.

Kyler spent the weekend with Gaga and Pop pop. No doubt they took a bunch of pictures but since I don't have them, here is a cute potty shot. (I figured I needed at least one picture of Kyler since it is his blog.)
