Sesame Place

We used our Sesame Place season passes for the first of, hopefully, several more visits. We went with our friends, the Trigo's and everyone had a blast!

I can't believe my big boy is 4 already!! He is such a sweet little guy and has become such a fun and funny little boy.

Here is the Buzz and Woody cake that Mommy made from scratch all by herself! It was my first attempt at decorating a cake and I think it turned out pretty well. I guessed I picked up a few things working at Nussex all those years ago.

We had the big back yard party again and he had a great time.

We enjoyed a beautiful day at Springton Manor. We saw lots of animals including 4 day old piglets!

Kelsey is 1 year old!

Cousin Kelsey turned 1 year old on May 1st and we celebrated with a big party at her house.

Mia is 18 months old!

Time just keeps marching on. April seems to be going just as fast as March. It's a busy time of year, but we are all loving a taste of the nice weather. Mia was 18 months on the 9th. Such a little girl now. No more baby here, although she will always be my baby just like Kyler will be too, even when he is 6'5"!! Mia is now a whopping 23 pounds, 2 ounces. (Kyler was 31 pounds, 11 ounces at 18 months!) She is saying and understanding so much now that you can almost have a conversation with her. She loves to color, paint, read books, and diaper and dress her doll. She has also been showing us her umm... persistence and independence. It can be quite entertaining.
Of course, big brother is always showing her how it's done, and when he isn't picking on her he is actually very good at teaching her and taking care of her. He is loving the weather, being outside, running, hitting the t-ball, riding his bike and car, and his favorite: driving his John Deere truck he got from Santa. He is full of questions and seems to remember EVERYTHING we say, so we have to be careful and actually think before we answer him!

Where did March go?

Really, where did the month go? I was sick for most of the month and had surgery on my sinuses at the end of the month. We did still manage to have some fun but I guess I wasn't taking many pictures and not doing any posts!
