Good thing she is so cute...

...because she is still not sleeping. Mia has been on Zantac for a week now and I have been trying to cut out foods in my diet that may bother her and there has been a little improvement. She still has good and bad nights (good meaning up 2-3 times but goes back down easy; bad meaning up every other hour and/or does not go back down easy). Last night was particularly rough. She has outgrown the bassinet so we moved her into the pack and play but still in our room. She was up until 4 am and not having it.
I finally fell asleep at 5:30; up at 7:30.......

Otherwise, she is a very happy, easy baby.

She had a mild case of cradle cap, so I read you should massage their scalp with Vaseline. I guess I should have first found out how you get the Vaseline out after. Two shampoos later and we still have a punk rocker!

I hope things get better. It's hard enough with two, without losing sleep! Has the dr said anything about having her sleep in her car seat? I know Ethan had to do that for a bit when he was a baby. Love the punk rocker do!

She likes to sleep in her cradle swing, even when it is still. I guess they like that position better. We do that for naps but the doctor said not to do it all night. We had tried it at night, though, and it didn't make much difference anyway.

Sorry to hear that she isn't all better. I hope the diet thing makes a differnce. They had Ethan on Zantac and Raglan (to help his GI) He had a really severe case though. Did they do an upper GI for Mia? They did one on Ethan and you could see the reflux going up and down. It would come all the way up to the back of his throat. It makes me teary eyed just thinking about! Mia sounds so much like Ethan, very easy going but when you would lay him down it was just agony for him. He would arch his back and everything. His car seat was our only saving grace until my diet and the medication took affect. We still had to keep him upright for a good 30 minutes after he nursed until he was about 6 months.
