Kyler's First Thanksgiving

Kyler enjoyed his first Thanksgiving at Gramma and Granpa's house. No turkey for him this year, but he did have sweet potatoes to stay in the theme of things. I think he liked all the attention and people fighting over him. "I want the baby, no I want the baby..."
Aunt Michelle and Uncle Dave babysat for the first time on Saturday night, while we were at our friend Carla's wedding. Everything went great, but it doesn't look like Kyler is going to have cousins anytime soon as Michelle and Dave said they aren't ready to do it full time!
Oh, and tooth number 2 is coming in now (bottom left)

Banging away on Gramma's "new" old highchair. Those old metal ones sure make a lot of noise!

Kyler is 6 months old!!!

Kyler turned 6 months last Wednesday and it has been a very exciting week as a 6 month old.

He has been eating food so well now and really starting to fill in. He doesn't turn his nose up at anything and weighed in at 16 pounds, 14 ounces last week. He goes for his 6 month visit this Friday so we will get his exact stats then.

He started sitting on his own last week and has been getting better every day.

Monday, his first tooth came through.

Tuesday, he finally rolled from back to belly and now I can't keep him from rolling all around the room!

He is just so active and fun lately, but also requires much more supervision. Last week, I was eating a salad while sitting next to him and out of no where, he flung himself forward and got 2 big fists full of lettuce with dressing running down his arms. He had the biggest grin on his face like he couldn't be happier!

The tooth. I swear it is there. You can feel it better than see it.

International traveler, part II

Kyler got to go to Canada again! This time to Toronto for Daddy's long time friend, Dave's wedding to Meera. He was so good for the entire trip, I just could not get over it. 10 hour drives each way, sleeping in the pack and play in new places, sleeping in the middle of a big party the night before the wedding, being babysat by Uncle Matt during the wedding. He took it all in stride with very little fussing and no meltdowns. I was a bit apprehensive about taking him, but I am so glad we did. He was so much fun to have with us on the trip!

The face we saw for the entire trip!
