Mia's baptism was on Sunday and she was a perfect little princess. Even Kyler was very good for the Church service and brunch afterward. He was so sweet, too. When I came downstairs in my skirt, he looked up and said, "Mommy, you are beautiful!" He also said the Pier 1 bag was beautiful the next day, but whatever, I'll take it. St. Patrick's Day Party. Happy Hour at Moon bounce.
Mia is 5 months today and getting so big. She weighs 15 pounds, 1.5 oz. (57%) and 26.25 inches long (95%). She is still sleeping through the night! Yeah!! She is so social and active now. She loves being around people and excitement. She likes playing with some of her toys, mostly putting everything in her mouth. As you can see, she is a big time drooler!
We had a busy week. Kyler had his first dentist appointment last Wednesday, and he did great. He listened and followed directions and let them clean his teeth really well (even with the metal hook!) Saturday we went to our cousin, Ethan's 3rd birthday and the kids got a Daddy day on Sunday while Mommy was at Aunt Renee's baby shower. Not long now until the kids have some cousins! Can't wait! Today, we all went into the city to visit Daddy at work and go out to lunch.
Kyler's latest obsession is Mommy's old beat-up, duct taped, 5 string guitar. We may have another musician in the family.
Mia slept through the night the passed 2 nights!!!! Put her down at 8:00, topped her off around 10:30, then didn't hear from her until 7/7:30 am! I can't believe it. I didn't want to say anything after the first night, because it could be a fluke, but now 2 in a row. I certainly don't think we are done with this but it is a good start. We also still have one other major hurdle. She is in her room and in her crib, but she is sleeping inside the top part of her bassinet that is placed inside her crib. (Thanks to my cousin, Jennifer, for the great idea). So, eventually we'll have to get that out of there, but considering where we were a month or 2 ago, this is fabulous. Now Mommy has to learn to sleep through the night. I still keep waking up, thinking she is going to wake up any minute. That girl has me trained good.
