Chritmas in the city.

We took the kids into the city on the train for some good old fashioned Christmas activities. We went to the Macy's light show, Dicken's Village, Comcast's Christmas show and lunch at the Reading Terminal. The kids loved it! They wouldn't take their eyes off of the light show and just loved walking around the city, and of course riding on a real choo-choo train: forget about it! They were so good too I was shocked that there weren't any melt downs:o)

Annual trip to the tree farm.

Every year we go to the tree farm it is either wet and muddy or freezing cold. This was a freezing cold year, but fun none the less!
Train ride to the trees. I think we have this same shot form the past couple years. Crazy to see how much he is growing.

Mia's first haircut.

Mia is such a big girl now. Here she is walking hand in hand with her boyfriend, Logan at Kyler's school parade.
She had her first official haircut on November 7th. She was such a good girl. She loved it, being in a salon like a big girl!

We did a photo shoot trade with our good friend, Denise who is a photographer. She took our shots and Chris took her family. We love her stuff!

Kyler's football team: The Snakes

Kyler had a great season with his first year of football. His team, the Snakes, went 6-1-1 and finished in 2nd place! The league was 4-6 year olds, but he was the only 4 year old on the team,(maybe in the league). He learned a lot about team work and listening to his coach.

Mom's group Halloween Happy Hour

We had a Halloween Happy hour with the Mom's group here at our house. It was a lot of fun. Buzz and Ariel had a blast!
Mommy and Daddy even got in on the fun.

Mia wouldn't keep her wig on for long, but man it really made the costume. Buzz also refused to wear his wings, which he wears almost every other day...???

My friends, Denise and Chrissy were some of the few other adults to dress up.

Mia is 2 years old!

Where does the time go? I remember this like it was yesterday and I hope I always remember it that way. I don't want to forget a single detail.


My little bundle is becoming a big girl. She is so outgoing and has no problem leaving me and walking to the front of story time to dance for everyone. However, she also loves to snuggle and give hugs and kisses to everyone she can get her hands on. I started taking her to babysitting at the gym, worried since it was my first time leaving her somewhere. She barely even knew I left. When I picked her up after, I asked her if she had fun with Jamie (the girl that works there) and she said, "yes, I love her." She is counting to 10 well, 20 so-so, and singing her ABC's along with a million other songs. She is talking so much that it is unusual for her to have any trouble getting her point across. She will go on the potty sometimes, but only when she feels like it and more often milks the one on one time with me or Chris as long as she can with nothing in the pot!

I took another go at cake decorating and I think there has been some improvements since the Buzz and Woody one I did for Kyler. Hopefully, they keep getting better. Plus, its fun and saves a couple bucks.

Mia is now a whopping 26 pounds even (45%)! After I started giving her chocolate milk a couple months ago, she has gained 1 1/2 pounds. And like her brother, she is a string bean: 36.25 inches tall (>95%).

Kyler continues to amaze me with what a big boy he is becoming too. He is learning so much at his new school this year. He is starting to sound out words, do some basic math, and talks about planets, gravity, space, fire safety, speaking Spanish... He also really likes the Montessori part of his school, doing "jobs" and learning practical skills to take care of himself. I'm really glad I made the change to this school. He also enjoys playing football every Saturday. He is the youngest kid on the team by far, but really learning a lot. He had 3 carries, a "tackle", and snapped the ball a few times at center this past week! It also helps that he is finally out of his cast!
